Here is a new video from the Christy’s shows.”This Little Light of Mine” is a gospel classic with a second line New Orleans twist. It’s been a great year being back in Santa Rosa with the boys in the Quartet, but soon I will be returning to Springfield,Oregon to live again. More video is coming, including a version of “Benny” requested by Nadine. Aloha, and God Bless you all!

We had a great turnout at Christie’s on Friday night. I really like the new club, they have made some changes and I think it is very much improved. Justin asked us to come back, so we will be playing every other Friday night from 6 to 9 starting on the 19th of November! I would like to thank all of my friends who came out to support us, without you there would be no us. It was especially nice to see my old friend, and bandmate Bill Gibson.
I am also very happy about my new guitar rig (after I work out a few kinks it should be great.) Unfortunately, I forgot to push the record button,...

Come down to Christie’s if you are here to see The 4H club rise again! Tim Haggerty on
keys, Tom Hiyashi on drums, Mike Lufkin aka “Hufkin” on bass, and yours truly on guitar.
We are starting at 6:00 instead of 5:00, but we play till 9:00! I will be trying out my new rig, 2 QSC K10 speakers, a Vox tonelab for a front end, and a ‘65 Strat. Stereo reverb!
I hope it works ok.Christie’s is a very nice place for grown ups( and immature musicians) to sit and have a snack and a cocktail, so come on down.

Moving back to California was pretty tough on me. I really miss all the good friends we met in Springfield.I certainly miss walking out my back door to fish, that was a treat. It is also great to see our good friends in California of course, and it gives me an opportunity to start fresh...

Hi Everyone,
I have been having a great summer with the family here on the McKenzie.
We are slowly getting settled, but enjoying all the support from the wonderful, helpful, loving, and caring people in the Springfield-Eugene area. Special thanks to Carla, Jason, Josh, and McKenzie Goss, Pat, Sherie, and Kayla Greenwell, Mike and Andrea Gramzow, Oriana and Mark Hurwit, and Karen and Kelly Willis.
I will try to post more material on the site, but as we are space-challenged here until we do our remodel, it will take awhile before I can set up my equipment.
I thank you all for your comments and...
